Who we are

This website is operated by Oxford Dynamics Consulting Ltd (company number 12561973, registered in England and Wales). We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy at enquiries@oxforddynamics.com.

What we collect

If you use our contact form or email us, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, and optionally your company and phone number, together with the content of your message. Our web host also keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and reliability.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics, or third-party tracking, and it does not load fonts or scripts from third parties.

If you use the light or dark mode switch, your choice is saved in your own browser so the site remembers it. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it by clearing your browser’s site data.

To stop the contact form being misused, our server keeps a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for up to an hour after you send an enquiry. It cannot be turned back into your address.

How and why we use your data

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry and, if you choose to work with us, to discuss and manage that work. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We do not add you to marketing lists and we never sell your data.

Who we share it with

Your enquiry is transmitted and stored using our website hosting and email providers, who act as our processors. We do not otherwise share your data unless required to by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries that don’t lead to work for up to 24 months, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep relevant records for as long as required for legal, accounting, and contractual purposes.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email enquiries@oxforddynamics.com.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We’d appreciate the chance to put it right with you first.
